Shi Weihan was born in Beijing in 1970. He is a house church pastor in Beijing. For printing and distributing Bibles and other Christian publications, Shi was detained by Beijing's Ministry of Public Security on November 29, 2007 and arrested on March 19,2008. On June 10, 2009, Shi was sentenced to three years in prison and fined 150,000 RMB for "illegal business activities." Along with Shi, six other Christians including Tian Hongxia were sentenced to prison terms between one to three years and fined between 60,000 to 150,000 RMB.
