In the past five years, the Laogai Research Foundation has provided financial assistance to Chinese political or religious victims in the mainland and overseas through several very meaningful projects. These are: 1) Human Rights Research Fellowship Grant; 2) Humanitarian Program Grant, and 3) Small Humanitarian Aid Grant. through the above items. The Laogai Research Foundation has directly or indirectly (through other humanitarian aid organizations) distributed aid to hundreds of Chinese political or religious victims in mainland China and in exile overseas, and has received unanimous praise from home and abroad.

In recent years, due to budgetary constraints, we have temporarily suspended our Human Rights Research Project, which mainly targets Chinese political or religious victims in exile. But the “Humanitarian Aid Project” and “Small Humanitarian Aid Project” never stopped. Since July this year, our “Humanitarian Aid Project” has resumed accepting applications from overseas humanitarian aid organizations.
